Does your day start off with the delicate symphony of the Ragas? Do the seven notes of the scale incite in you an earnest passion; an unparalleled joy? Then this is the event for you. Inviting all exponents of one of the purest genres of music to showcase their talent in WAVES-Winter 2009.
They say too many too many cooks spoil the broth. Prove them wrong. As groups from colleges all over India get ready to showcase their craft, you must be warned, the competition will be intense. Show your talent in this event that is as much about teamwork as it is about sensational singing.
Who says only the westerners can play rock? Prepare to prove your mettle as you compete with musicians from across the country to combine the elements of Rock and Hindi music to create a seamless flow of melody. Your view on Rock music will never be the same again.
The Event will be judged and headlined by the band "Arth".
One voice is all that is needed to bring happiness to the hearts of one and all. It can move and stir an entire nation into frenzy. If you think you possess such a voice then head over to BITS Pilani, Goa campus and prepare to hold the audiences spellbound in this, the solo singing event.
To some purists, music without amps is true music. If you are one of those, this event is just the thing for you. Be prepared to perform awe-inspiring acoustic numbers in the customary soulful way and leave the audience bedazzled.
